David Hoffman

David joined Bankwatch in 2006 and since 2009 has coordinated Bankwatch's communications work. Prior to joining Bankwatch, David worked in Washington DC with the Bank Information Center, focusing on access to information and social and environmental standards at the multilateral lending institutions, and as a fellow at the American Folklife Center, researching intellectual property and indigenous peoples’ rights.

David holds a degree in anthropology and economics from the University of Vermont and studied environmental policy and social movements with the International Honors Program of Boston University.
