I graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo with a graduation thesis exploring the position of marginalized groups in the modern political community. I hold a master’s degree in Democracy and Human Rights in Southeast Europe, with a focus on social movements and common goods. Currently, I am completing a master’s degree in Protection from Natural Disasters and finalizing a thesis on “Water Supply in Transition.” I have experience in policy development in the field of environment, sustainable development, and participation. I have worked as an engaged researcher on several assignments related to the governance of commons, rural development, participation, the position of women in BiH, and citizen initiatives related to environmental issues in BiH.

A large drainage pipe has been recently installed next to the spring of the Bunica River as part of the construction of the European Corridor Vc motorway in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Local residents became increasingly concerned and the issue gained public attention on 3 July 2026 when photographs of the works were widely shared and questions were raised about the purpose of the pipe and its potential impact on the river.
