‘Mensenrechten worden geschonden met Europees belastinggeld’

Maar wat het voorstelt als duurzame ontwikkelingsprojecten, gefinancierd met privaat en publiek geld, komt in de praktijk te vaak neer op flagrante mensenrechtenschendingen, zegt Hans van Scharen. ‘De EU kan echt bijdragen aan duurzame ontwikkeling, maar dan moet het tenminste aanbevelingen van experts lezen.’
