Rebuilding towns, industry, schools, hospitals, and water and energy infrastructure in Ukraine will require between USD 500 billion and USD 1 trillion. Aside from massive investments, there will also be a need for knowledge and technology transfer, capacity building and human resources. Transparent and well-organised coordination and planning will be crucial for donors. This briefing gathers practical suggestions for consolidating international efforts around the idea of a sustainable post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
