Maksis joined Bankwatch in June 2018 as Energy Transformation Project Coordinator for EUKI project.
Previously he worked in NGO sector, implementing public awareness raising campaigns on environmental issues (including energy consumption/production matters), organising events for general public as well as for business, state and municipality representatives. Before that he worked for a private environmental consulting and engineering company as an environmental expert.
Maksis holds an MA degree in Environmental Science.
He speaks Latvian, English and Russian.
