Save the Neretva! #StopUpperHorizons

Upper Horizons is a large, controversial hydropower project in eastern Herzegovina, with three planned hydropower plants: Nevesinje, Dabar and Bileća. Through dams, reservoirs, tunnels and canals, water from the Neretva basin would be diverted toward the Trebišnjica basin. As well as harming people and nature across Herzegovina, the project would increase salination in Croatia’s Neretva delta, undermining agriculture and local people’s livelihoods. It’s high time to stop this damaging project!
