Civil society recommendations for ADB Accountability Mechanism Policy Review

In April 2025, 29 civil society organisations, including Bankwatch, submitted recommendations for the Asian Development Bank’s Accountability Mechanism Policy.
These recommendations are based on case studies and references to effective policies adopted by other independent accountability mechanisms, as well as empirical evidence that sheds light on the functioning of the Accountability Mechanism over the past 12 years.
