“Svaneti has many interesting unique ways of making handicraft and it’s important to spread this knowledge among children.”

Zvika’s mother is the English teacher in Khaishi. Zvika’s father is the informal leader in Khaishi. And Zvika has become the spokesboy at school. Although there are not so many extracurricular activities in Khaishi, he is always active. His latest project included crafting Svan hats together with his classmates and teaching others crafting to inspire more people in Svaneti to preserve the traditions.

Zvika is a student from Khaishi.
