Bankwatch has 15 member groups in 13 countries in central and eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Russia. Our headquarters are in Prague, Czech Republic, but our staff is based in offices across the region. We’re in Brussels too.
We work with partner organisations from Africa to Central Asia, monitoring publicly financed projects and promoting environmentally, socially and economically sustainable alternatives.
Our diverse staff and its expertise enables Bankwatch to work on a wide range of issues from air pollution to land rights and EU decision-making.

Anti-corruption and whistleblowing
Everyone connected with CEE Bankwatch Network (Bankwatch) is expected to observe high standards of organizational and personal ethics in the conduct of their duties and responsibilities, including complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Our policy is to provide everyone inside and outside Bankwatch with a transparent procedure for submitting and processing anti-corruption concerns and to protect anyone reporting concerns from retaliatory actions. It is intended to enable anyone connected with Bankwatch to raise a serious concern so that it can be addressed and corrected.
